At the court of Mansa Musa
In Sankoré, you become one of the custodians of the ancient university of Timbuktu in the 14th century. Your task is clear: to grow the prestigious institution established by the emperor, training students, disseminating knowledge, and bringing it to the entire West African empire.
Pupils, classes and curriculum
Each turn, you'll have to choose whether to enroll students, advance their studies, or teach new subjects. You'll be able to enhance your academic record and guide your students to graduation, paving the way for valuable points and lasting prestige.
The four disciplines of knowledge
Theology, law, mathematics, and astronomy are the pillars of knowledge. Expanding your knowledge in these fields allows you to influence the university's final evaluation and shape the reputation of your academic role. Every choice you make shapes the future of your knowledge.
The large library and the construction site
Adding books to the library shelves and contributing to the construction of the majestic university means securing fame and resources. As construction progresses, the value of disciplines will shift, and your strategic plan will need to adapt to new priorities.
