Thus was born the famous Hadrian's Wall , a monumental work that would mark the borders of the Empire for centuries. In this strategy board game , you are called upon to play a Roman general charged with building and defending your milecastle , ensuring prosperity for its citizens and honor for Rome.
In Hadrian's Wall , each game lasts six years (six rounds), during which you'll have to manage resources, defenses, and population . You'll build walls, train soldiers, develop the city with entertainment and civilian buildings, and at the same time face enemy tribes. It's a paper-and-pencil game that combines tactics, planning, and personal growth, with the option to play solo.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. The command of a Roman general.
In Hadrian's Wall, you take on the role of a general tasked with building and managing a section of the famous Roman wall. Your mission is to expand fortifications, maintain order, and foster the prosperity of the community around your milecastle.
2. Six years of construction and defense.
The game lasts six rounds, each representing a year. During this time, you'll have to build walls and towers, train troops, and organize civilian buildings, balancing military needs with those of the population.
3. A dashboard to optimize.
The heart of the game is an elaborate system of tracks and spaces that allows you to spend resources and workers to develop your settlement. Each choice opens up new opportunities, creating a true strategic engine-building experience with ever-changing interplay.
4. Honor and discipline against contempt.
Your final score is based on four main values: renown, piety, valor, and discipline . Every decision brings you prestige or exposes you to risk: neglecting defenses or citizens means accumulating contempt, which reduces your glory.
5. Victory for the Legatus Legionis.
At the end of the sixth year, the general who best balances defense, development, and civil management will be recognized by the Senate as Legatus Legionis . In this deep and highly strategic board game, only those who plan with Roman rigor triumph.
