🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Conquering the planetary system.
In Aldebaran Duel, two space commanders battle for control of a new star system. The game unfolds across three eras, during which you'll explore planets, colonize them, and attempt to expand your dominion by exploiting wealth and technology.
2. Multipurpose cards, difficult choices.
Each card can become a planet to discover, a shuttle, a mining station, or a colony... but it can also be sacrificed as a resource to build your empire. Each turn is a crucial decision: play the card or spend it as raw materials?
3. Build fleets and technologies.
Developing merchant, diplomatic, or battleships grants you influence and superiority in space. At the same time, laboratories offer new technologies that can change the course of the battle at the right moment, rewarding those who plan with foresight.
4. Planets as strategic architecture.
The planet-building mechanism is central: arranging cards in the right positions unlocks better actions and increasingly broader options in subsequent turns. It's an ever-evolving strategic puzzle that determines the effectiveness of your empire.
5. He who rules the stars wins.
At the end of the third epoch, the player who has successfully balanced colonies, fleets, and technologies to build the most efficient civilization will be the winner. Aldebaran Duel is a tense and cerebral duel, with the option of a solo variant.
