🐸 HOW TO PLAY
– Objective : Each player leads a tribe of Hoopers in a fantasy basketball game. The player with the most points on the scoreboard at the end of four periods wins.
– Setup : Each player prepares their board with 5 starting Hoopers, 2 on the bench, the Action deck, and the Energy tokens. Place the scoring board in the center and choose the tribe's starting rosters (Keepers or Unleashed).
– Turns and Periods : The game is divided into 4 periods, each consisting of 16 attack turns (8 per player). Turns alternate between attack and defense: Action cards are played by spending energy to dribble, pass, shoot, defend, or tackle.
– Action Resolution : Attacks are determined by comparing Hooper's statistics and bonuses with the roll of the d20 die; defenses and tackles can cancel or reduce effectiveness, with the risk of committing fouls using the d8 die. Succeeding in an action sends the Hooper forward on the Onfire track, failing causes him to move back.
– Power-ups and victory : Winning individual periods awards power-up cards to assign to the Hoopers. At the end of the fourth period, or any overtime in the event of a tie, the player with the most points is the winner.
