In Trailblazer: The John Muir Trail, experience twelve days of hiking along the famous California trail, crossing mountains, lakes, valleys, and ancient forests. Each round is a new stage of the journey, with encounters and experiences that make your expedition unique.
Daily encounters and exploration choices
Every day you'll encounter events that can change the course of your journey: you can decide whether to explore spectacular destinations, observe local flora and fauna, or make the most of your resources to overcome obstacles. Your choices shape your experience and how you earn points.
Backpack and resource management
Your backpack is the heart of survival: your gear affects how you deal with weather, encounters, and opportunities. Making the most of your collected items is key to maximizing efficiency and turning every stage into an advantage.
Trail points and collections
Score is earned in several ways: by placing workers on your tracks, completing sets of nature guide cards, activating immediate effects on destination cards, and making the most of your equipment. Each scoring path reflects a different exploration style.
