FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
The boss is watching you. It knows where you are. It knows what you're planning. And it's about to ruin everything.
What it's about
The zodiac signs have awakened. Unfortunately for us.
Twelve colossal demigods — the Zodiacs — have awakened after 25,920 years of slumber with one goal: to eradicate humanity. Seriously. And our only defense is us: four improbable heroes convinced by a suspicious astrologer that the story is true.
The Bad Karmas and The Curse of the Zodiac is a cooperative tactical boss battle game for 1–4 players with a digital dimension that changes everything. The Teburu Board transforms the table into an intelligent battlefield: boss miniatures communicate via Bluetooth with the app, and each Zodiac responds in real-time to your moves — learning, adapting, striking where it hurts most.
The app is available in Italian with Italian voiceover: an absolute rarity for a game of this type. Each encounter is a cinematic narrative, with story events, sound effects, and animated sequences that transport the table from a volcanic cave under Uluru to the skyscrapers of New York.
From the game experience
The boss doesn't wait for your turn. Teburu makes it move, react, and choose — between players' actions. You're not fighting a deck of cards. You're fighting something that is watching you.
The secret of The Bad Karmas in one line
App, subtitles, and voiceover completely in Italian: every player at the table can follow the story in their own language, even online with friends abroad.

The Bad Karmas: Curse of the Zodiac
Designed to work perfectly solo: Teburu's AI manages everything, no automa to build by hand. Complete experience.
The Bad Karmas' arsenal
What you find at the table — and on screen
12 Zodiac bosses with AI
Aries charges headfirst, Scorpio poisons the waters, Libra demands tactical balance. Each Zodiac has its own personality, environment, and rules — and adapts to your moves in real-time.
Smart miniatures via Bluetooth
Boss miniatures communicate with the Teburu Board. An LED ring shows weakened sides, imbalance, and attack points in real-time — no cards to flip, no tracks to manually update.
Unique heroes with progression
The demolisher with shield and shotgun, the spy with twin blades, the drunken monk, the elemental mage. Each hero evolves between bosses with upgrades of your choosing.
Arenas from all over the world
From the Uluru monolith to the skyscrapers of New York, from the North Pole to Mount Fuji. Each encounter has a unique environment, terrain, and special rules that radically change the necessary tactics.
When the boss turns to you and the red LED lights up, you know you've done something wrong. And you have exactly half a turn to fix it.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
The app activates the boss and introduces them
The Aries miniature lights up. The app explains in Italian how the gigantic obsidian bull emerges from its cave beneath Uluru. Place the arena, terrain blocks, your heroes. The boss's LED already shows its most vulnerable side. The plan is already in place.
The boss moves — between your turns
Take your action: you move, attack the right flank, unleash everything. Then it's the boss's turn — but they don't wait for you to finish the round. Aries charges. Not where you were, but where you would be. Someone saw it coming. Someone didn't. You feel it.
The field medic misses the moment
The doctor takes a hit from Aries while trying to reach her downed companion. The damage triggers her Eureka! — three powerful cards appear in the app. She chooses the riskiest one. It works. Aries loses a huge chunk of health. The table explodes.
The cinematic event no one expected
The app interrupts everything. Sound effect. Aries rages — new phase. The LED changes pattern, weakened sides shift, the boss chooses a different target. What worked before no longer does. You look at each other. You redraw the plan in thirty seconds.
The last attack. The app records everything.
Aries collapses. The app shows the final sequence — voice acting, illustration, narrative epilogue. Your group saves Australia. You can upgrade your heroes for the next boss. Someone suggests playing again. No one says no.
How to play
The flow of each encounter
The app guides the entire setup. Then it's controlled by those who know their heroes.
The app tells you where to place the boss, terrain blocks, and each hero. The Teburu Board syncs with the miniatures via Bluetooth. No rulebook consults for setup.
In turn order, each player activates their hero: they move on the grid, use action cards from their personal deck, attack the boss by targeting the sides shown by the LED as vulnerable.
After each hero or at the end of the round (depending on the boss), the Teburu moves the Zodiac, chooses a target, and resolves the attack. The LED shows every status change in real-time.
When the boss loses enough health, an event triggers: new phase, different behavior, sometimes a map change. The app narrates and the LED visually confirms what has changed.

Why it's different from others
Six things Teburu changes
The boss truly thinks
It doesn't follow a predefined AI card deck. The Teburu analyzes the heroes' positions and chooses the most dangerous behavior at that specific moment. Every encounter is different, even with the same boss.
LED as tactical information
The LED ring at the base of the boss is not decorative. It shows vulnerable sides, imbalance, and optimal attack points in real-time. Reading the LED is an integral part of the game.
Complete Italian voiceover
Every narrative event, every boss phase, every epilogue is voiced in Italian. Not an added subtitle: full official Xplored localization from the beginning of the project.
Multi-language online multiplayer
You play with a friend in France — you in Italian, them in French, each on their own device. The Teburu syncs everything. No other board game system does this.
Progression between bosses
After each victory, you power up your hero, add cards to your deck, unlock new abilities. The heroes' power curve grows with the difficulty of the Zodiacs. The campaign has a shape.
Monthly challenges from the real calendar
Each month, the app activates the Zodiac of the real month with special rules and a unique setup. A structure that keeps the community alive and offers additional content without requiring expansion purchases.
How it ends
Saving the world or succumbing to the apocalypse
Each encounter has one question: does the group survive long enough to bring the Zodiac's hit points to zero?
Victory
- Reduce the Zodiac's hit points to zero with at least one hero still standing
- The app shows the narrative epilogue, and the group advances in the campaign
- Each hero gains experience points and chooses an upgrade for the next boss
Defeat
- All heroes are eliminated before the Zodiac reaches zero hit points
- The app records the attempt — the boss restarts with the heroes unchanged
- It's not a permanent loss: you try again with the same configuration or by adjusting tactics
The Bad Karmas brings something to the table that few games can offer: an opponent you can't predict, in a story that speaks your language.
Frequently asked questions
FAQ about The Bad Karmas
Is the separate Teburu Board really necessary? Can't you play without it?
Yes, the Teburu Board is essential and must be purchased separately. The Bad Karmas box, however, includes everything else: 5 smart hero miniatures, 4 smart Zodiac miniatures, 3 double-sided game boards, 31 environmental elements, 1 Teburu die, and 1 LED ring. The Board is the electronic platform with sensors that reads the positions of the miniatures and communicates with the app — without it, the system does not work.
Is the app really in Italian or only in English?
The app is fully localized in Italian: texts, subtitles, and voiceover. The localization is official Xplored, not an amateur translation. The physical components of the game are language-independent — only the printed rulebook is in English, but the app guides the entire setup and narration in Italian.
How many hours does the full campaign last?
The base game includes the first 4 Zodiacs for approximately 8 hours of guaranteed gameplay. The full campaign covers all 12 bosses for over 30 total hours. Each encounter lasts on average 60–120 minutes depending on the number of players and the chosen difficulty.
Can it be played solo?
Yes, and it works very well. The game supports 1–4 players, and in solo mode, you control all four heroes or choose to play with fewer heroes, increasing the difficulty. The AI manages the boss regardless of the number of players — no additional automa is needed.
Is the campaign a legacy? Are choices permanent?
No, it's not a legacy in the traditional sense. You don't write on the physical components, and nothing is destroyed. Progression (hero upgrades, narrative unlocks) is managed by the app — you can restart the campaign or retry defeated bosses without permanent penalties on the physical components.
Is an internet connection required to play?
No. The app works offline once downloaded. An internet connection is only needed for the initial app download and for online multiplayer mode with remote players. Locally at the table, everything works via Bluetooth without a network.
