Warriors of the Steppes
In Raiders of Scythia, players lead bands of nomadic warriors across the lands surrounding the Black Sea, ready to plunder settlements and accomplish legendary feats. The goal is to gain the most victory points through plunder, loot, and completed missions.
Gather your company
Each player must recruit a team of fighters and train animals to enhance their abilities. Choosing the right combination of warriors and beasts becomes the key to tackling increasingly difficult challenges.
Looting and plunder
The heart of the game is raiding: by spending supplies and using your crew, you can attack settlements and earn valuable loot. Gold, iron, and grain aren't just rewards, but tools to further strengthen your company.
Missions and honor
In addition to looting, completing quests on the main board offers extra points and a sense of progression. These quests may require specific resources or achievements, rewarding those who can plan ahead.
The twilight of the raids
The game ends when only two unplundered settlements or two missions remain on the board. Points are then tallied, and whoever has accumulated the most glory through loot, missions, and conquests will be remembered as the greatest of raiders.

Raiders of Scythia is one of those games you won't forget. A solid, straightforward game, yet with a thousand strategic nuances. Each raid is a puzzle: do you have enough supplies? Are your dice ready? Is your crew up to the task?
But what really won us over is its identity: a game that doesn't hide behind its history , but rides it. The powerful illustrations, the unique abilities of each card, the animals that become extensions of your clan... every detail makes you feel like you're inside a forgotten culture, yet still alive in your hands .
And the mere fact that every warrior can carry an eagle into battle, well… that already deserved a place in Froggers Pond.
