Each player leads a faction with their own unique set of soldiers , whose abilities evolve along the journey, Sometimes getting better, sometimes getting worse. Unique factions, different soldiers
Each faction has a group of soldiers with their own abilities and characteristics. These units are not static: they can improve or weaken over the course of the game, reflecting the harshness and unpredictability of the Siberian countryside.
Cards and orders to play at the right time
The core of the game is the use of cards and Order tokens. Playing the right card at the right time can turn the tide of battle, while managing Orders allows you to always have a backup plan ready.
Clashes of cunning and strategy
Victory isn't achieved through strength alone, but through the ability to predict your opponent's moves, surprise other players, and exploit your soldiers' evolutions. It's a game of deception, calculated moves, and dramatic twists.

In the heart of snowy Siberia, there are no heroes , only men seeking a home. After the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, the Czechoslovak legions find themselves abandoned in a country at war , forced to survive, fight, and advance toward a homeland they have never seen.
Each faction in the game tells a fragment of this true and poignant story. You won't command mere troops: you will lead tired, hungry, determined men , who will change along the way. They will become stronger, more cunning... or more desperate.
A card wargame with a difference, where war is not just a question of strength, but of tenacity, timing, and adaptation.
In Siberia, the winner isn't the one who hits hardest. The winner is the one who stays standing... and knows how to wait.
Legions: The Siberian Story is a strategic board game for 2-4 players , based on a real but little-told historical context: the journey of the Czechoslovak Legions across Siberia during the Russian Civil War.
Each player controls a faction with an asymmetrical deck of soldiers and unique abilities that evolve over the course of the game , for better or for worse. The goal is to intelligently dominate your opponents , planning your moves carefully and using Order tokens to surprise at the right moment.
The gameplay unfolds in action-based rounds, with hand management , quick tactical choices , and an emergent narrative component that transforms each game into a different tale.

We haven't played it yet... but it inspires us like a march in the snow
Legions: The Siberian Story isn't your typical wargame with hexes and tables. It's something more intimate, personal, almost human .
The historical setting immediately struck us: a forgotten tale of resilience, sacrifice and survival , translated into an agile but never banal gameplay system.
The factions are well differentiated, and the soldiers change over the course of the game: some improve, others fall into ruin. And this, in addition to offering important strategic choices, also creates an emotional bond with your troops.
We're intrigued by the Hidden Orders mechanic, which adds tension to every move and allows for twists even when you're down on points.
A title suitable for those looking for a historical game that doesn't feel like a textbook , but rather a lived-in battlefield. We'll be trying it out soon. And we've already got our gloves ready.
