🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. A strategic duel between Good and Evil in Middle-earth
In Duel for Middle-Earth , one player leads the forces of Good (with Frodo, Gandalf, Aragorn…), while the other commands the forces of Darkness (such as Sauron, the Nazgûl, Saruman…). It's a board game for two players , perfect for epic challenges set in Tolkien's world.
2. Each faction has an asymmetric deck and different objectives
Decks are made up of iconic heroes, abilities, events, and items. Each faction has a unique playstyle: Evil focuses on domination and corruption, while Good focuses on resistance and mission completion. Games are always asymmetrical and balanced .
3. The heart of the game is hand management and card timing
Each turn, you can play cards to activate abilities, engage in battle, or protect your forces. Knowing when to attack and when to defend is crucial to survival. Cards run out; every decision matters.
4. The map and control points influence the outcome of the duel
The game takes place on a map featuring key locations in Middle-earth. Controlling territory offers advantages, activates abilities, and can change the pace of the game. Location is everything.
5. Whoever reaches their narrative objective first wins.
