1. Lead your kingdom to war
Each player commands one of the six kingdoms of Kalar , moving armies and heroes across vast hex-shaped maps. Your goal: expand your borders, defend your lands, and thwart the dark plans of the Witch Queen.
2. Choose the battle scenario
The game offers 29 different scenarios , from short campaigns with just two kingdoms to a grand twelve-year war involving the entire map and all factions. The variety allows for both quick battles and long, epic campaigns.
3. Move armies and plan strategies
Your units move across large, intricately illustrated hexes , representing the seas, mountains, and lands of Kheros. Logistics are as important as military strength: marching at the right time can decide the war.
4. Introduce magic, heroes, and monsters
With the advanced rules , artifacts, spells, and legendary creatures come into play. Your heroes can face monsters guarding treasures, or summon arcane powers to turn the tide of a campaign.
