🌍 Vantage – The planet is watching you, but only you can decide who you are

An open-world tabletop game for 1–6 explorers , where discovery is the real goal

You've crash-landed on an unknown planet. Your ship is in ruins. The silence is complete. In Vantage , each game is a universe born from scratch: you can face it alone or in company, but no one will ever see the world exactly the way you see it. It's not a survival game. It's a game of discovery, intuition, and memory . With over 800 locations and 900 discoverable cards , Vantage asks only one thing of you: choose your route and live it to the fullest .

🪐 The first open-world tabletop game without borders

Vantage is a visionary experiment from Jamey Stegmaier and Stonemaier Games : create a board game where there is no “fixed map”, but a living planet made up of hundreds of cards that fit together like ecosystems. Each session is self-contained, but what you learn about the world becomes your compass for your next exploration.

The Italian version is edited by Ghenos Games , maintaining the original soul: an impressive production, but essential to the experience. No manuals to study for hours, no interfaces to interpret. Just the planet and you .

🎮 How to Play – Freedom Has (Almost) 800 Faces

  • 🚀 Initial Crash – You start far from the other explorers, in an unknown part of the planet. Your first choices define your direction.
  • 🗺️ Modular Exploration – Each card represents a location. Connect them, discover passages, resources, mysteries. The entire planet lives in 400 interconnected cards.
  • 🧭 Free Objectives – You can aim for a Mission , a Destiny , or follow your personal vision of success. There is no single victory.
  • 🤝 Solo or Shared Mode – Play it alone, as an exploration journal, or in a group of up to six players. Communication is part of the journey, but every explorer has their own story.
  • 🧩 Non-linear Experience – Every choice leaves scars on the world, but there's no point saving anything: the memory of what you have seen becomes your true progression.

📜 The Explorer's Manifesto

On the first pages of the regulation you will find written:
“If you are in doubt about a rule, choose the funniest answer that makes thematic sense.” It's Vantage 's philosophy: the game is an experience, not a code . It encourages you to think like an explorer, not like a player who has to win.

Decisions are not punishments or rewards, but ramifications . Every card you turn, every direction you take, builds your memory of the planet.

🔭 Behind Vantage – Eight Years for a Dream

It took Jamey Stegmaier eight years to imagine Vantage. The idea was not to create another management game, but to give the player the wonder of the unknown on a tabletop. The goal? To combine Stonemaier design with the unpredictability of chance and intuition. There is no correct path, but infinite possible paths.

Like a shared travel diary, Vantage grows with those who play it. And every new game, whether solo or with friends, is just another day on a planet that never ends.

🌠 Vantage is not a game: it is lived

Vantage is the meeting of play, exploration and introspection. Whether you play it alone or with other explorers, no two games will ever be the same. Every decision leaves a trace, every card is a horizon, every discovery a story to remember. It is the perfect experience for those seeking wonder, freedom and silence .
