What it's about

Seekers of the Storm is the expansion that takes Risk of Rain: The Board Game beyond Mithrix. Based on the eponymous DLC of Risk of Rain 2, it adds three new Survivors: CHEF with his steamroller, Seeker who manipulates souls to heal and devastate, and False Son — the same character who awaits you as the final enemy.
The heart of the expansion is Prime Meridian, a completely new final stage that replaces Commencement for those who want to face False Son instead of Mithrix. A new basic monster (Child), a new boss that towers over the map (Grandparent), and 22 unprecedented items change the way you build your run.
It's not an extra content pack — it's an alternative ending. From the seventh, eighth run onwards, the base game starts to become familiar. Seekers of the Storm is the answer when Petrichor V has stopped surprising you.
It doesn't add rules — it adds possibilities. Three new Survivors completely change how you approach the same planet you thought you knew.

Yes, the same False Son who is also the final boss of the expansion. Playing him as a Survivor is a statement of intent — and a completely different gameplay experience.
