It's a standalone expansion for Fromage : play it alone or combine it with the base game to increase the variety and paths to victory.
The heart beats fast on the table: simultaneous worker placement and a rotating wheel at the end of the shift. 🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Nobles in the chaos of Thebes.
In Thebai, players take on the role of aristocratic families trying to lead the city during the fratricidal wars between the sons of Oedipus. While armies clash at the gates, within Cadmea, players must rebuild the citadel, manage resources, and gain political prestige.
2. The heart of the shift: action and destiny.
Each round is divided into two phases: in the Action phase you use a Citizen die to determine the strength of your moves and move your Archon around the Cadmea, carefully choosing which areas to rebuild or which activities to upgrade.
3. Build, trade and pray.
Your choices range from rebuilding parts of the citadel to reestablishing exports to praying to the Theban deities for benefits. Each decision shapes your strategy and brings you closer to new opportunities for scoring and influencing the city.
4. The trials of Fate.
In the Fate phase, events test your skill: battles at the seven gates affect the city's security and offer opportunities to earn points by protecting citizens or maintaining order. Reacting to unexpected events is essential.
5. The glory of the victors.
After ten rounds, the final tally is made: whoever contributed most to the rebirth of Thebes, balancing reconstruction, trade, religion, and defense, obtains the most Victory Points and is crowned the city's new leader.

In Formaggio you will take on the role of a master cheesemaker intent on building a dairy of excellence , maturing delicacies and distributing dairy wonders among the vineyards, banks and restaurants of Venice.
Each turn is a cut through time: produce, season, rotate the board , and take on a new management micro-game.
Your cheeses age as the board turns , changing strategies and possibilities. New boards, new structure abilities , seasonal rewards and Platinum Cheeses open up never-before-seen paths to reach the pinnacle of Italian excellence.

The heart of the game is a simultaneous worker placement system, in which each player interacts with a sector of the board to produce cheese, activate structures, sell and earn Prestige.
The rotation of the board at the end of the turn introduces an elegant twist: every action has consequences on time and the future.
