In Dogs of War, you command an army not for honor, but for convenience. You are a mercenary captain in a Renaissance world of mechanical knights and war machines , ready to sell your services to noble houses vying for power. Every battle is merely a means: the true goal is to accumulate influence and rewards by carefully choosing who to support… and when to betray them.
The heart of the game isn't brute force, but the ability to manipulate alliances , deploy your men at the right time, and reap the best rewards. Battles are tense, low blows are inevitable, and the captains' unique abilities can change the fate of entire houses. In the end, the one who has weaved the most dense web of power and influence will win.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Choose your Captain and your (apparent) loyalty
Each player controls a Dog of War , a captain with unique powers, ready to deploy his soldiers in support of the great houses. But beware: loyalties are fluid, and personal interest often outweighs military glory.
2. Fight in just 3 intense rounds
The new edition reduces the game to three quick rounds , where every choice is more impactful. The rewards of the final round are enormous and can turn everything around at the last moment.
3. Manage changing battles and alliances
Houses battle in epic clashes with mechanical knights and war machines . Players deploy troops and mercenaries to shift the balance of power, but victories are not always predictable: betrayal is as powerful a weapon as brute force.
4. Take advantage of new powers and Mercenary Captains
In addition to the main captains, there are now Mercenary Captains , who balance out 3- and 4-player games and introduce new tactics. Powers have been doubled and revamped , so no game will ever be the same.
5. Whoever accumulates the most influence and power wins.
Success depends not only on battles won, but on political influence, wealth, accumulated troops, and alliances with the strongest houses . Only the most cunning Dog of War, capable of betraying at the right moment, will be remembered as the true master of the conflict.
