🐸 HOW TO PLAY
– Preparation : the deck is formed according to the number of players (more cards with more participants), 9 cards are given to each player and 2 X cards. The 10 dice are rolled and arranged by suit on the mat.
– Tricks : The first player leads by playing a card, establishing the suit led. The others must follow with the same suit if possible; if they don't have one, they can play any card. The highest card of the suit led wins, unless someone plays the "next season" suit, which is the trump suit and always wins.
– Using dice : Instead of a card, you can play your own die. Suit dice count as cards but have no number (they lose to any card of the suit but can win if they are the only trump suit). X dice function like X cards. Dice won in a trick go into the score pile.
– X cards : These can be played at any time, even if you have the suit in your hand. They have no value and lose against any suit card or die. If the first player leads with an X, the suit is determined by the first player to play a normal card.
– End of round and scoring : The round ends when the last die is taken from the mat. Everyone adds the remaining cards and dice to their score. Points are counted according to the values of the cards collected, but be careful: whoever has the most Xs loses points for each, while whoever has the second-highest number gains points. After a number of rounds equal to the number of players, whoever has the most points wins.
