Victorian Flower Hunters
In Botany, players take on the role of Victorian-era botanical explorers, ready to travel the world in search of rare specimens. The goal is to gain fame and fortune and become the Royal Botanist by building a remarkable garden and collection.
Secret objectives and different paths
At the start of the game, each player receives random objectives that will guide their strategy: collect precious flowers, complete quick expeditions, or strengthen their estate. Each choice will lead to a unique outcome.
Journeys between risks and rewards
Starting from their manor, players use coins to move around the map, hire crew members, and acquire tools. Spending too much can jeopardize their return to England, while investing wisely increases the chances of bringing the champions home intact.
Characters and personal growth
Each explorer has unique abilities that influence the way they play. As you play, you'll be able to strengthen your character, improve your travel efficiency, and increase your chances of surviving the world's unforeseen challenges.
Floral prestige
Victory is achieved by collecting live specimens, pressed flowers, and improving one's garden. At the end, whoever best combines expeditions, discoveries, and reputation will be crowned Royal Botanist.
