🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Nobles in the chaos of Thebes.
In Thebai, players take on the role of aristocratic families trying to lead the city during the fratricidal wars between the sons of Oedipus. While armies clash at the gates, within Cadmea, players must rebuild the citadel, manage resources, and gain political prestige.
2. The heart of the shift: action and destiny.
Each round is divided into two phases: in the Action phase you use a Citizen die to determine the strength of your moves and move your Archon around the Cadmea, carefully choosing which areas to rebuild or which activities to upgrade.
3. Build, trade and pray.
Your choices range from rebuilding parts of the citadel to reestablishing exports to praying to the Theban deities for benefits. Each decision shapes your strategy and brings you closer to new opportunities for scoring and influencing the city.
4. The trials of Fate.
In the Fate phase, events test your skill: battles at the seven gates affect the city's security and offer opportunities to earn points by protecting citizens or maintaining order. Knowing how to react to unexpected events is essential.
5. The glory of the victors.
After ten rounds, the final tally is made: whoever contributed most to the rebirth of Thebes, balancing reconstruction, trade, religion, and defense, obtains the most Victory Points and is crowned the city's new leader.

In this strategic board game, you play an investor willing to do anything to make your ideas profitable: place buildings, cleverly calculate their value , attract the right people, and earn when roads are completed. Each building has a profit formula, each passerby has a preference... and every move you make can move the crowd toward your area.
Hipsters, families, tourists and shopaholics are moving around the city , and if you can predict their behavior… the profit is all yours.

Streets is a board game for 1-5 players where each player takes on the role of an investor ready to develop their own vision for the city. Through tile placement and set collection mechanics, you'll build streets, shops, and homes to attract the various social groups represented by meeples: families, hipsters, tourists, and compulsive shoppers.
Each building has a dynamic value, influenced by other nearby buildings and by the pedestrians on the street. Once a street is completed, each player's profit is calculated... and the flow of people moves toward the new attractions.
The game combines simplicity and depth , with easy rules but plenty of strategic possibilities, especially thanks to the optional expansions that add asymmetric abilities and extra challenges.

Streets really amazed us . The mix of tile placement and character movement is brilliant: each turn forces you to think two or three moves ahead, trying to fit in the perfect neighborhood to maximize your profit.
We love that you don't build alone : the city grows with all the players, and understanding how to exploit other players' buildings is crucial. The modern illustrations, the urban/hipster feel, the straightforward mechanics… it all works.
A game to be played often , both with family and among expert gamers, thanks to its scalability and the possibility of playing alone.
If you like clever yet accessible board games, Streets will make you fall in love like a hidden coffee shop in your favorite neighborhood.
