Four legendary factions vie for dominion of the seas: the Undersea Kingdom led by Coraline Oceanus, the terrifying Leviathans of Scyphozoa Queen, the Protectors with the Turtle Mother, and the feared Dwellers of the Abyss led by the necromancer Azazel Dreadborne. After centuries of conflict, the only way left is to join forces: choose an ally and fight for supremacy.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Submarine warfare begins.
In Battle for the Deep, players take control of one of four major ocean factions—from the Undersea Kingdom to the Leviathans—and team up in 2-on-2 teams to battle for dominance of the seas.
2. A battle map to explore and conquer.
The game takes place on a map representing the ocean depths, where factions start from different starting positions and must expand their influence by conquering strategic territories.
3. Axis & Allies-style tactical combat.
The mechanics recall the famous Axis & Allies system: planned movements, dice clashes, unit and resource management. Every choice affects your ability to defend your borders and strike your opponents.
4. Alliances and synergies.
The key to success is cooperation: you'll need to coordinate with your teammate to combine forces, plan assaults, and cover weak points as you try to break up the enemy alliance.
5. Victory in the depths.
The team that manages to dominate the ocean depths and control the most important areas of the board will be declared the winner. Battle for the Deep is a strategic and competitive board game that combines diplomacy, tactics, and epic clashes in the deep.

Battle for the Deep is like Axis & Allies dressed up as a war siren. The miniatures are evocative, the factions are anything but banal, and the team system adds a diplomatic tension that kept us glued to the table (yes, even if we haven't had a chance to try it in freshwater yet 🐢).
It is a wargame that is not limited to tactics, but also tells epic stories of alliances, betrayals and legendary creatures.
We recommend it to those looking for large-scale battles but with a fantasy twist , and to those who want to revisit their love for Axis & Allies… under a decidedly more marine perspective.
