What it is
It's not decoration. It's real-time tactical information.
The Teburu LED Ring is the base where the boss miniature is placed in Teburu games. Inside are LEDs that communicate via Bluetooth with the Board: they change color and pattern in real time to indicate the boss's status during the game — vulnerable sides, imbalance, optimal attack points.
Without the ring, information on the boss's status would only be visible on the device screen. With the ring, every player at the table can read the situation directly on the miniature — without having to look at the screen, without having to ask others. The information is there, on the table, where it's needed.
It recharges via USB-C, and the firmware automatically updates when the app starts, if available. Owners of the Bad Karmas Vol. 1 base game already have an LED Ring included in the box — this separate accessory is useful for those who want a replacement ring or are starting with a standalone expansion like Vol. 4 or Vol. 5.
How it works in brief
The app sends signals to the LED Ring via Bluetooth through the Board. The ring lights up in different patterns to indicate the boss's vulnerable sides, imbalance, and critical phases. Each piece of information has a specific color.

Starting with Vol. 4 or Vol. 5
The Curse of Cthulhu standalone expansions do not include the LED Ring — it needs to be purchased separately along with the Board to play. This is the missing component.
Replacement Ring
The LED Ring has a rechargeable USB-C battery. If the one included in Vol. 1 has problems or deteriorates over time, this is the official Pegasus Spiele replacement.
Multiple bosses simultaneously
Some advanced game modes or custom scenarios feature multiple bosses on the board simultaneously. Each active boss needs its own LED Ring to show its individual status.
Two separate setups
If you play in two different locations with the same Teburu system — for example, at home and at friends' houses — having a second LED Ring avoids having to dismantle and transport the one from the base game every time.
