PARKS Memories: Coast to Coast is a family board game of memory and collection: you turn face-down tiles, make quick choices and build sets of US national parks with “water everywhere” scenarios, from coast to coast.
This isn't your typical memory game where you just hope: here, memory is just the beginning. Every revelation is also a decision, because you choose a tile to keep and, while others watch, you figure out what you're leaving behind.
The turn is super linear: you reveal two tiles, choose one and place it in front of you, then add a new tile and block a position with the hiker token. This continues until one person (or team) completes three sets of identical parks.
The "smart" part is the player abilities : they're activated by matching resource icons as you reveal tiles, creating little boosts and twists. You can also play head-to-head, in teams, expand the grid for more of a challenge, or simplify everything for younger players. A family board game that's light, but still makes you say: okay, this was a pro choice.
