Panda

Objective:inPANDAbuild together theGiant Panda National Park, but everyone thinks about their own points. Score more points than the others by playingprey cards(points immediately) and placingpredator cards(points at the end of the game).

The park grows from the river:Theriveris the starting point: the cards are placed creating an expanding area. Thepreythey tend to appear near the water and then spread out into the park, always with adjacency rules.

Playing prey (immediate scoring):when you place aprey cardyou place it in the park respecting the rules (adjacent to the river or other cards already present) andscore points immediatelyHere you try to create “safe” and profitable areas… but the richer the area becomes, the more trouble it attracts.

Playing Predators (Final Scoring + Control):when you place apredator card, you place it strategically near the prey: the predatorsthey don't score points right away, but they prepare points that countin the end. Furthermore, they serve to threaten, block, and “book” future opportunities.

The moment of attack (timing and risk):the players decidewhen predators strike: You can attack as soon as you see a desirable prey, or wait for larger groups to form to score more points. But if you wait too long, someone else can place another predator andblow on youthe position (and therefore the points). The whole point is there: grow the park enough to score... without giving away prey to others.
