Operation Cuckoo Travel Edition

1. Objective:inOperation Cuckooyou control an intruding cuckoo and its pieces in the nest. You wanteliminate the opponentortake control of his nest, exploiting forced captures and tactical movements.
   
2. 
   Shift Structure:Players take turns. On your turnmove only one pieceon the board and the turn ends immediately after movement. Simple, straightforward, with no extra actions.
   
3. 
   Movement and catches:they existthree types of pieces, each with its own movement rules. Pieces can only move on spacesfreeoroccupied by an opponent(in that case you catch it).
   
   Key rules:
   
   
   you can't jumpother pieces;
   
   
   if you can catch, you must catch;
   
   
   you just moveforward, except when a capture allows you to hitbackwards.

   Forced tactical choices:each move leads to one of two possible situations:
   
   
   you can capture→ you are obliged to do so;
   
   
   you can't catch→ choose the best possible progress.
   
   This makes the game very tactical: you are often forced to move, but you can use forced captures totrap the opponent.
   
   
   
5. 
   Victory Conditions (4 ways to win):the game ends immediately if this occursaof these conditions:
   
   
   you only have yours leftcuckoo(all your other pieces have been captured);
   
   
   you catch the opponent's cuckoo;
   
   
   your cuckoo enters aopponent's homebaseand conquers the nest;
   
   
   an opponent's piecenon-cuckooenters your homebase (becomes untouchable and wins).
   
   
   

It's aabstract, direct and bad game, where reading the forced captures and the positioning of the cuckoos decides the game.
