In the vacuum of space, alliances come at a price.
In Moonrakers – Platinum Edition , you don't win alone: you choose when to ally , what to offer, and when to break the pact. It's a deck-building and negotiation board game where risky contracts, unexpected hazards , and table bids decide who will become the new leader of the Moonrakers.
Accept Contracts alone (more rewards, more dangers) or with Allies , negotiating the division of Prestige , Credits , and risks. Play your Action hand (Thrusters, Shields, Weapons, Reactors, Crew), upgrade your spaceship, recruit new Crew Members , and grow an engine capable of tackling increasingly ambitious missions. But beware: an unattractive offer can turn into a betrayal.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Leader and contract choice
In turns, one player becomes Mission Leader and decides whether to attempt a contract or stay at the base. They can invite other players to join, negotiating the division of rewards and risks.
2. Alliances and negotiation
If an alliance is formed, players agree on how to divide Credits, Prestige, and Objective cards. These agreements are binding: once agreed, there's no going back.
3. Mission execution
Hazard dice are rolled to determine the risks, then each player plays cards from their deck to fulfill the contract requirements: Reactors for extra actions, Thrusters to draw, Damage to attack, Shields to protect themselves, and Crew for special abilities.
4. Rewards and growth
If the mission is successful, players receive the assigned rewards: Prestige, Credits, and new Objective cards. At the base, the Leader can spend Credits to recruit Crew or purchase Ship Parts, which add new abilities and cards to the deck.
5. Victory with Prestige
The game continues until one player reaches 10 Prestige points . At that point, he becomes the undisputed leader of the Moonrakers and wins the game.

Moonrakers: Platinum Edition is a strategic, thematic board game for 1-5 players where you build your spaceship, upgrade your deck, and embark on dangerous missions in an unstable space future.
Each round is based on contracts to accept and negotiate , actions to manage with Thruster, Shield, Weapon, Crew and Reactor cards, and dangers that can make you lose prestige if you don't prepare for the worst.
At the heart of the game is a remarkable social dynamic: you can propose alliances, split rewards, and even betray your fellow pilots when the time is right.

We started from scratch… and ended up shamelessly cheating to take home the tenth prestige point. 😎
