🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Choose your faction
One player controls the Marvel heroes (Doctor Strange, Hulk, and company), the other the villains (Ultron, Loki, and others). Each has a unique deck with different powers and strategies.
2. Deploy cards and control New York
The battle takes place on the city stage: turn after turn you play cards to occupy strategic zones , push back your opponent and ensure control of the most important areas.
3. Exploit strengths and weaknesses
Each card has abilities and vulnerabilities : knowing how to combine them, covering weak points and hitting enemy ones, is the key to turning the tables on the battle.
4. Collect artifacts and bonuses
During the game you can obtain valuable artifacts that enhance your moves and give you temporary or permanent advantages in the fight for supremacy.
5. Whoever dominates the battlefield wins
The game ends when one faction conquers enough key locations and resources in New York. Only then is it decided whether the city will remain in the hands of the heroes or fall to the villains.
Friends and foes, old and new, clash on the streets of New York. An epic battle between good and evil erupts. Who will prevail? Doctor Strange and the Hulk or Ultron and Loki? A new Marvel-licensed card game for two players !
Whether you side with the heroes or the villains, your sole objective is to reclaim control of the city. How? By playing your cards carefully, exploiting the weaknesses of your opponent's cards, obtaining powerful artifacts, and wresting control of the most important locations.
As the name suggests, being a Skirmish, the game is centered on a 1 vs 1 battle , Heroes (Doctor Strange & Hulk) vs Villains (Ultron & Loki) which manifests itself by the clash of the character cards on one side of the board (player 1) with those on the opposite side (player 2).
In this two-player battle, players take turns performing the following phases:
- Recruit (optional) – Play a character card, paying its cost, to have it available later or a card with immediate effect.
- Attack – to attack the opponent, dealing damage if there is a defender in the corresponding opponent slot, or to activate the location bonus.
- Fishing – to get new cards.
The game can end in several ways, but clearly with a victory for one of the two factions.
