Technically, Guild Master's Revenge is a masterpiece of asymmetrical design. The expansion introduces a hand management system for the invader that replicates and surpasses the AI logic of the base game. The "Evil" player doesn't move tokens randomly: he plans raids, focuses fire on specific rooms, and exploits monster weaknesses.
The balance has been finely tuned to hold up to both competitive (1vsMany) and hardcore co-op play.
