🐸 HOW TO PLAY Gloomhaven - Buttons & Bugs
1. A pocket-sized Gloomhaven… but with the same tension.
In Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs , you play an aspiring hero reduced to the size of a mouse by a spell cast by Hail, the powerful Aesther who has no time for your ambitions. Your goal? Make your way through a miniature world filled with danger and convince her to restore you to your original form.
2. A solo adventure with an epic feel.
Each game is designed for a single player and follows a brand-new narrative campaign written by Isaac Childres. You'll move through unique scenarios, each represented by a single card that pits your mercenary against a small group of enemies with simple but deadly actions.
3. Few cards, many possibilities.
Your character only has four double-sided ability cards, but you can use them twice (front and back) before discarding them. This limitation turns every move into a crucial choice, where every action must be carefully planned to survive.
4. Fast but strategic combat.
Attacks are resolved with a die and a modifier table, which can be improved as you progress. Your mercenary's ability cards can also evolve, offering you new tactical options to face increasingly dangerous enemies.
