Fox on the Tree is a board game of deduction and bluffing where no one at the table is innocent: everyone is helping someone… and bringing down someone else.

You secretly choose your “favorites” and your rival: you guide two animals to safety while setting traps and detours to trip up the one you want to see fail.

The map transforms with constant moves: blocks, pushes, frees, sabotages. And as the pieces run, you begin to look at the others not to understand what they do , but why .

The stroke of genius? The game "mirrors": you run, then you go back. And what seemed like a favor becomes a weapon, what seemed like a mistake becomes proof .

You don't win by moving better: you win by understanding people .

Secret Objective:inFox on the Treeeach player hashidden roles: mustto save two favorite animalsand at the same timeto cause a rival animal to failAt the end of the game you score points for the successes of your favorites andyou lose pointsif the animal you want to sabotage reaches its destination.

Animals and opposite directions:on the board there arefarm animalsAndpredatorsAt first they move in different directions:

farm animals run away to theforest,

predators advance towards thefarm.

Their rules of movement are different: predators canjump forward, while farm animals canto shellbeyond obstacles.

Turn and action token:on your turn you spendaction tokento influence the race: you canblock,trap,saveanimals or create temporary obstacles (traps, swamps, slips). Each intervention permanently changes the situation on the board.

Hidden role play and table reading:You can't tell which animals you're actually helping. You have toobserve the moves of others, understand who is favoring whom andmask your intentions, perhaps helping an animal just to avoid being discovered… before striking at the right moment.

Double mirrored phase and final score:the match takes place intwo mirror phases: halfway through the game the animalsreverse directionand they race home, with the board completely changing its strategic value. At the end, the points are calculated: prizes for the favored animals who reached their destination, penalties for those who should have failed. The one who managed best wins.deception, timing and chaos control.
