Each round, you choose a biome card to decide where to develop your planet. But be careful: cards you don't choose will make those areas more fertile for everyone. 🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Create your own ecosystem by planting trees, shrubs, and lakes
In Evergreen , each player has a personal planet to nurture. Plant trees, place sprouts, add bushes and lakes to build a harmonious ecosystem. The goal? To grow vegetation in the most fertile areas of the planet.
2. Choose biome cards that determine actions and priorities
Each round, you choose a card from a shared display. The card tells you which biome you can act in (e.g., tundra, forest, desert, etc.) and offers you an extra action. But be careful: the cards you leave to others affect the future fertility of the regions!
3. Place elements on the board following a tactical logic
You can plant new trees, grow existing ones, add bushes or lakes. Each element has specific rules and must be placed carefully to create combos and prepare for light points .
4. The Sun Rotates: Use the Light to Maximize Points
At the end of each round, calculate your light points : each mature tree receiving direct sunlight (without being obscured by another) scores points. Positioning and growth should be planned with the sun's orientation in mind for future rounds.
5. Whoever cultivated the most harmonious and bright planet wins.
After four seasons, light points, bonuses for fertile areas, and ecosystem diversity add up. Whoever has planned growth, shade, and biomes wisely wins... and the satisfaction of a green and lush planet.
