Men-Nefer is one of those titles that intimidates you at first , but after three turns… it has already won you over. 🐸
The actions are always meaningful , with an elegant system that forces thoughtful choices. Nothing is left to chance, yet every game takes a different turn.
We liked the mix of pure strategy and historical immersion , the possibility of specialization and the tension between competing on the same tracks and pursuing personal strategies.
Going solo? A tough but rewarding challenge.
In 4? A real race for prestige points, between divine offerings and imposing statues.
Oh, little spoiler: you'll see the Nile like you've never seen it before (spoiler 2: no, it's not swimmable).
