With Even Deeper Regrets the ocean is no longer the only horizon: now you can also start your days inland , among rivers and lakes full of new challenges and even greater risks. An expansion that adds variety, tension, and surprises to every game, making your Regrets experience even more unpredictable and compelling.
You'll find 74 new freshwater fish and 117 new marine species , along with new items, equipment , and even pets to accompany you on your adventure. But beware: like everything in this unforgiving world, they too can get lost. And that's not all: the new octopuses introduce a new mechanic that rewards risk, increasing their value the more you manage to collect.

An increasingly hostile sea
In Even Deeper Regrets, the waters become even more menacing: the scourge of the sea pushes towards rivers and lakes, new creatures emerge from the depths, and madness draws ever closer. Prepare to face abominations that seem to have risen from the very depths of the end of the world.
The new frontier: the hinterland
Beyond the sea, you can now fish in rivers and lakes thanks to the Inland board. Here, players face unique challenges, including "Dink" cards, new fish species, and constant risk that makes every expedition a race against time.
The Power of Clout
This expansion introduces the Clout system: catching prestigious fish means gaining influence and notoriety. Spending Clout at the docks reduces the cost of purchases, but saving it until the end can net you extra points, which are crucial to victory.
New Horrors: The Polyps and the Regrets
Tentacled monsters, Polyps, can suddenly appear and multiply in value as the game progresses. Additionally, new, even more punishing Regret cards and rare “Brief Respite” cards change the way you handle the madness and regrets of the expedition.
More choices, more risks, more tension
With fish that activate when peeked at, the chance to earn pets as permanent items, and an ending that takes accumulated clout into account, Even Deeper Regrets makes every turn more intense and ruthless.
