Landscapes suspended among the clouds
In Confusing Lands, two players compete to create the most bizarre and surprising flying landscape. Majestic mountains, meandering rivers, and curious deer combine into a unique mosaic with every game.
One turn at a time
Players take turns placing cards depicting symbols and scoring conditions. Each choice defines not only the aesthetics but also the strategy for building their landscape.
Eight cards for a world
The game develops quickly: each player builds their own landscape with just eight cards, trying to fit the symbols together as best as possible and plan the final score.
One common goal, many strategies
At the end, both players are scored according to a shared scoring condition, but each card adds additional rules and variables that reward creativity in the layout.
The victory of the best landscape

Welcome to a world where rivers go round in circles , mountains overlap and a deer can carry more points than a volcano .
In Confusing Lands , each card you play adds a piece to your suspended landscape… but also a doubt in your head.
It's a fast-paced, almost zen-like game that challenges you to strategically fit together symbols and patterns, while trying to figure out what the heck you just built .
It seems simple, but it's the classic game that after 5 minutes makes you say: "wait... if I put the lake here... then the deer is worth double... but I lose the flower...".
An abstract, relaxing and competitive micro-game in 10 minutes
Confusing Lands is a board game for 1-2 players , with games lasting about 10 minutes, in which you build a floating landscape by placing transparent, overlapping cards .
Each card features natural symbols (rivers, mountains, deer, flowers, etc.) and a unique scoring condition. At the end of the game, points are calculated based on a common condition and the conditions of your eight personal cards.
Thanks to the layering mechanic and pattern building system, every game is different and stimulates visual and strategic thinking.
Perfect for those looking for an abstract, pocket-sized, fast-paced yet surprisingly deep board game , with a solitaire mode as well.
