Boop is one of those abstract board games for two players that deceives you with the tenderness of kittens and then punishes you mercilessly at the first wrong move. Every time you place a puppy on the bed, everything goes "boop": adjacent pieces are pushed away one space, creating a continuous ballet of jostling, chaos, and geometric shapes that need to fit together perfectly.

The goal? Line up three kittens to raise them into cats... and then line up three cats to win. Simple to say, very difficult to achieve, because your opponent will be trying to do the same while booing you for any attempt to build something serious. It's a perfect mix of pure strategy, adorableness, and feline mischief.

HOW TO PLAYBOOP

Abstract 2-player tactical game based on pushing, positioning and transformations.

1) Object of the game: transform and align to win

To win you have to geta row of three cats(horizontally, vertically or diagonally).

At the beginning, however, you only havekittens, which must first belined up in threesto transform intoadult cats.

2) The bed is the feline battlefield

It is played on a board shaped like aupholstered bed, placing the kittens on the free spaces.

Space is limited and every move changes the structure of the board, creating increasingly tight and unpredictable situations.

3) Placing a kitten causes the famous “boop” effect

When you play a kitten on the bed, thispushes away one squareall adjacent pieces, be theyyours or your opponent's.

If there is no room for the push, the piecefalls out of bedand is temporarily recovered.

The “boop” effect is the heart of the tactical puzzle.

4) Transformation: from 3 kittens to 3 cats

If at any time you alignthree consecutive kittens, you remove them and replace them withthree adult cats.

Cats are heavier andthey can't be pushed away by kittens, creating a more solid and strategic game phase.

5) Victory condition

The game ends immediately ifyou can place three adult cats in a row.

If no one can close, the game continues until all available moves are used up and the winner is determined according to the rules.

Positions, anticipations, you imagine the perfect line... but a single boop changes everything and you find yourself starting again, with a nervous smile and the desire to try again.

In Boop., you don't win by doing the right thing, but by doing the right thing at the perfect time: three kittens become cats, three cats lined up, and the game is yours... unless you get booped first.
