In Bites, you're not just any ant. You're a collective intelligence trying to lead a trail of ants toward glory... or chocolate . A strategic and unpredictable board game , where every move matters, but not in the way you expect. Here, you win by reading the board and the other players, not by dominating.
Choose which ant to move, strategically collect food, but be careful: the value of that food depends on the order in which the ants arrive at the final hill. And every game changes thanks to four modular rule sets that make every session different, with new combinations of powers, bonuses, and strategies to invent.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Guide the ants and collect food along the way.
In this abstract, tactical board game , players move colored ants along a food trail . Each turn, you may move any ant to the next food tile of its color. After moving, you take a food tile in front of or behind the moved ant.
2. Points are only decided at the end… and together.
Each type of food (apples, grapes, bread, etc.) has a value that isn't fixed at the start . The score is determined based on the order in which the ants reach the final hill . This creates a system of shared incentives , where moving an ant can help you... or benefit someone else.
3. Wine and chocolate change the rules.
Along the way, you can collect wine and chocolate tokens . Wine provides variable bonus points , while chocolate allows you to activate special powers . The exact rules for each are defined at the start of the game, thanks to modular cards that change each time .
4. Every game is different thanks to the variant decks.
You draw four rule cards at the start: one for the Ant Hill, one for Wine, one for Chocolate, and a General Variant. These rules change how you score points, use powers, and move your ants. Bites is a replayable and always fresh board game , with simple mechanics but plenty of depth.
5. Whoever gets the most points with the food collected wins.
Once all the ants have reached the hill, the food-related scores are revealed. Each player adds up the points from their tokens, the bonuses from the wine, the effects of the chocolate, and any special rules in effect. Bites is a fast-paced, visually compelling board game full of subtle choices , perfect for families and groups of gamers looking for clever filler.

Imagine an abandoned picnic, a path littered with crumbs, apples, chocolate, and grapes… and a line of ants jostling for the spoils.
In Bites , you don't control just one ant, but all of them. And every move you make changes the fate of all the players .
By moving the ants along the path, you'll collect food and try to guess which colors will be the most profitable at the end of the game. But be careful: others are doing the same, and each step changes the value of your choices.

In the game, players move ants along a trail of food randomly placed on the table: each move collects tokens that are worth points… but only if the ant of the correct color reaches the hill first (or last!).
The real twist is in the modular rules , with 4 decks of cards that alter each game: chocolate powers, wine variations, alternative objectives and end conditions completely change the pace of the game.
