Balconia is an abstract and super elegant board game for 2 players (20 min): you build a condominium together in a 5×5 grid, but each player tries to match preferences and “perfect neighborhoods” to score more points.
It's the kind of light-hearted yet mischievous challenge: cats, flowers, naps, and balcony obsessions become a puzzle of subtle choices. Each turn is a little mental duel: should I give you this... or am I cheating you?
The heart is an ingenious " I cut, you choose " game: you draw a building block, decide which two faces you'll take and which two you'll leave for your opponent, then your opponent chooses where to place it on the grid. You swap roles each turn, and the building grows with increasingly important connections and interlocking pieces.
