The FroGames Card
You just cut a merchant's purse. No one saw anything. Or did they? The other thieves are watching you, studying your movements, trying to figure out who you really are. And you're doing the same to them.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
A Thieves' Race for a Spot in the Guild
Aaron Crow and Ryan Scott sign this deduction game set in the bustling squares of Eldris, a fantasy world where thieves challenge each other with cunning. Illustrations by Dasha Park bring to life a city of merchants, pickpockets, and hidden secrets. Released from Inside Up Games' Kickstarter in 2025, the game promises to mix hidden movement, memory, and dice resolution in a compact formula.
Each player is a thief with a secret identity. You roll dice to move characters around the square, preparing your heists and covering your tracks. When the time is right, you strike: you steal coins from targets. But the other thieves are watching you. If someone guesses who you are and exposes you, you lose everything. The first to accumulate 8 coins wins an invitation to the Guild.
What they say abroad

Fortunes are forged in the shadows, one stolen coin at a time.
— Inside Up Games
This is one of three titles in the Twisted Realms world. The card is based on official information and available first impressions: the game will be released in July 2026, and we will update the description as soon as we have more data from the field.

Thieves of Eldris
The game includes an official solo mode in the basic rules. We don't yet have precise details on how it works (automaton, AI deck, scenarios), but the fact that it supports 1 player from the original design is a good sign. The experience naturally loses the bluffing and opponent-reading component that is the heart of multiplayer.
The elements of the heist
What you find in the box
Icon dice
You roll the dice and use the results to move characters around the square. Each die shows different symbols: choose which character to move and where.
Character cards
Merchants, guards, nobles: everyone has a role in the square. Arranged in a 4x4 grid, they move according to the dice and become your targets or covers.
Secret identities
At the beginning, you receive a hidden identity. Others don't know who you are. If they discover you before you accumulate 8 coins, you lose your riches.
Coins and purses
Every time you successfully steal, you take coins. But if someone exposes you, you lose them all. The tension builds with every hit.

The flow of each round
Each turn is a dance of dice, moves, and suspicion. Fast and deadly.
Roll the dice and read the symbols. Each die gives you options on which characters to move in the square.
Choose one or more characters to move on the grid. You can prepare a robbery, cover your tracks, or block a rival.
If the conditions are right, you declare the theft and take coins from your target. But beware: every theft is a clue.
At any time, you can accuse a rival of being a specific identity. If you're right, you unmask them. If you're wrong, you pay.

What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Identity and setup
You draw your secret identity and study the square. Characters are arranged on the grid. No one knows who you are, and you don't know who the others are. The tension starts immediately: every move counts.
First moves, first suspicions
You roll the dice, move a character. Others watch you. Did you move that merchant? Maybe it's your target. Or maybe you just want us to believe it is. Every move is a clue.
The first theft
Someone strikes. Coins change hands. Now others have information: who stole, from whom. Patterns emerge. Anyone accumulating too quickly becomes a target.
Unmasking and raising the stakes
One player points a finger: "You're the red thief." If they're right, the stolen coins return to play. If they're wrong, they pay a penalty. Bluffing becomes a weapon. Trust too much and you lose everything.
The final sprint
Someone is close to 8 coins. The last turns are frantic: who steals, who accuses, who bluffs desperately. Victory is decided by a deduction. In the end, you know exactly what you should have done.

Three things to consider
Memory curve
The game requires remembering who moved what. It's not pure memory, but those with short memories struggle. With 4+ players and many movements, clues accumulate quickly.
Variable scalability
With 2-3 players, the game is more tactical and controllable. With 5-6, it becomes chaotic: harder to track everyone, easier to hide. Two different experiences in the same game.
Luck in the dice
The dice limit your options each turn. An unlucky roll can ruin a perfect plan. It's not purely deductive: there's a component of tactical adaptation to the random outcome.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
The game ends when someone accumulates 8 coins and holds them until the end of the round.
Victory
- You accumulate 8 coins by stealing from your targets
- You manage to keep your identity hidden until the end
- You unmask dangerous rivals at the right time to stop them
Defeat
- A rival guesses your identity and unmasks you: you lose all your coins
- You accuse someone wrongly: you pay a penalty and lose time
- Another thief reaches 8 coins before you
Thieves of Eldris promises compact deduction with no downtime, tactical movements, and continuous bluffing. If it works as it seems, it's a gateway to more structured deduction games.

FAQ about Thieves of Eldris
What mechanics does Thieves of Eldris use?
The game combines hidden movement (hidden identity movement), deduction, dice icon resolution, and light memory. Each turn you roll dice, move characters on the grid, and try to steal without being discovered.
Is it suitable for those who have never played deduction games?
Yes. The 2/5 weight and short duration (20-45 minutes) make it accessible. The rules are simple: move, steal, deduce. The complexity emerges from the play of others, not from the rulebook.
How does solo play work?
The game supports 1-player mode in the official rules. We don't yet have details on the system (automa, AI deck, scenarios), but we know it's designed to be playable solo without fan-made variants.
How much does luck matter in the dice?
The dice limit options each turn, but they don't decide the winner. A bad roll slows down the plan, but a good player adapts. Deduction and reading opponents weigh more than a lucky die roll.
Is it available in Italian?
The edition for sale is in English. The game has text on cards (identities, characters) and a rulebook. There are currently no Italian editions or official translations.
