In Barrio , every player has the ambition to create the best cityscape . But beware: resources aren't private! Each round begins with a dilemma: add materials to the common market or build? Both choices will affect you... and others.

Every material you put into the pool could be used by someone else before you. Sure, you could wait and build something better... but are you sure another player isn't stealing the perfect view right under your nose?
3. Different homes, different needs.
Each house has a specific mix of materials required for construction. Wood, concrete, brick... each house has its own combination. Building at the right time means staying ahead of the curve and securing the best pieces in the neighborhood.

We brought it to the fair and it surprised us: Barrio is a small but very clever game , which creates “I’ll steal the house you wanted” situations with the speed of a party game, but with the aftertaste of a gamer’s game .
It works well in solo play, but it really comes into its own with 3-4 players, with laughter, sabotage, and the race to build the most beautiful block.
