In Sequoia, every turn is a race to the top. Literally. You have only 10 turns to plant and grow your trees into the best forests, but you're not alone: other players want to do the same. In this fast-paced and strategic board game , every choice matters, and every roll of the dice can change the game.
Each turn, you roll five dice, combine them into two pairs, and place them in two different forests. Each value represents the growth of a tree: the higher the total, the closer your sequoia gets to the top. But be careful: whoever has the tallest tree in each forest gets the points, while whoever comes in second... gets a bonus.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Grow the tallest trees in eleven forests.
In this abstract and competitive board game , the goal is simple yet compelling: plant and grow your trees in the various forests to become the player with the tallest tree in each. At the end of 10 rounds, whoever dominates the most forests wins.
2. Each turn choose two forests to develop.
Each round, you roll five dice and divide them into two pairs to determine the two forests where you can place your growth tokens. The remaining die gives you a small bonus. The challenge is to choose wisely where to place your growth tokens: fight for a contested forest or move elsewhere?
3. The majority is worth points, but second place also counts.
At the end of the game, victory points are awarded in each forest: whoever placed the most tokens wins full points, while second-place players receive a smaller prize. This makes Sequoia a fast-paced yet strategic board game , where even compromises can make a difference.
4. Watch out for draws: the play-off is an epic event.
If two or more players are tied in a forest, a tiebreaker is triggered, which can radically change the outcome. It takes composure and a pinch of luck, but thrilling endings are guaranteed.
5. The winner is the one who knows when to persist and when to give up.
After 10 intense rounds, the player with the most points by adding up all their forests is the winner. Sequoia is a light board game with interesting choices , ideal for large groups or quick evenings, with a relentless pace.

You roll the dice, choose two forests, and try to be the tallest. But be careful: the other players won't be watching.

Sequoia is a board game for 2-5 players where every choice matters. In just 10 turns, players roll dice and assign the resulting values to two of the 11 forests on the table. The goal is to make your sequoia grow taller than your opponents , earning points for each area dominated.
The mechanics are simple but profound: choosing when to compete and when to back away is the key to success.

Seemingly harmless, Sequoia is actually a small bomb of bad choices. Every roll of the dice forced us to decide: push into the contested forest, or migrate to less competitive areas?
We were impressed by how much interaction and tension it managed to generate in such a short time , perfect for opening or closing a game night.
A noteworthy filler that made us laugh, curse and shout "Why did you even go there?!".
And then we play right back. Because, let's face it, one sequoia is never enough.
