🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Create your garden and attract life into it
In Pergola , each player builds their own personal garden with tiles representing plants, flowers, and small natural elements. The goal? To attract insects and animals and create the most harmonious and vibrant garden.
2. Each turn choose a tool and take items
Your turn begins by choosing one of the four available tools (hoe, watering can, scissors, rake): each one lets you collect certain elements from the central board and activates a different action.
3. Place elements in your garden with creative (but strategic) freedom.
You can arrange the tiles in your garden however you like, but each arrangement affects your end-game points. Layout optimization is everything.
4. Each garden becomes unique and always different
The combination of the chosen tools and the free arrangement of the tiles makes each game different: after 15 turns, each garden is a small naturalistic masterpiece... or a messy but tender mess.
5. The winner is the one who has built the most harmonious and life-filled garden.
At the end of the game, points are scored based on shared objectives, layout, variety, attracted animals, and other bonuses. The player with the most balanced and strategic garden wins the green crown !
