In Life in Retterra , each player tries to restore the biodiversity of a nature reserve, placing animal, plant, and habitat cards to create a harmonious environment. It's a nature-themed strategy game inspired by real-world ecology.
2. Each card represents a vital element of the ecological chain
Cards represent specific animal species, flora, and habitats, each with icons, placement conditions, and interactions. How you connect and place them determines the health of your ecosystem.
3. Scores based on symmetry, synergies and respect for the ecosystem
To earn points, you'll need to create healthy relationships between prey and predators, plants and insects, and environments and species. The more balanced and diverse your ecosystem is, the more efficient it will be in terms of scoring.
4. Every game is different thanks to objectives, changing fauna and draft
