🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Explore the Boroughs of New York
Each turn, you place one of your characters in the haunted city's Districts , spending movement points from your van. Here, you can gather resources, eliminate zombies, or activate special abilities.
2. Manage your team and resources
Your characters have unique movement, influence, and power values. You can obtain weapons, food, fuel, and special equipment from Districts or by using Research and RIP cards.
3. Conquer the Districts
When a District is filled with characters and zombies, the total influence is calculated. If you win, you gain the District card (which becomes your active base), victory points, and new actions; if the zombies win, they gain points and the District is lost.
4. Survive the zombies
Each death or elimination immediately turns a character into a zombie, and the horde marker advances on the track. Too many mistakes and New York will be overwhelmed. Eliminating zombies gives you research points or progress toward a cure.
5. Victory Conditions
The game can end in three ways:

a player reaches 15 Heal Points (wins immediately);

the players' Points marker surpasses that of the zombies (humanity is reborn, the final points are counted);

the zombies either exceed the final threshold or run out of tokens (New York is lost, points are calculated to see who resisted the best).
