🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Choose which side to fight on: gods or monsters
One player controls the mighty Greek gods, while the other controls terrifying mythological monsters. Each faction features asymmetrical characters with unique, one-time-use abilities, creating diverse strategies.
2. Move or use an ability on the grid-based board
Each turn, you can move one of your miniatures in a straight line, placing a token on each space it passes through, or activate a character's special ability. Each action affects terrain control.
3. Block the opponent and occupy key spaces
Strategically placing tokens helps you block your opponent's moves and dominate crucial areas. The game is a constant battle of positioning and control, as you try to anticipate their plans.
4. Objective: Place all your tokens first
You win when you decorate the map with all your tokens . Scattered miniatures combined with cage or gate tiles make victory a challenge of efficiency and tactical pressure.
5. Play 2 rounds to face both factions
Once the game is over, the roles are reversed. This balances out asymmetries and offers the opportunity to understand the mechanics from both perspectives.

Ichor is a two-player, asymmetric, abstract board game set in Greek mythology. Published by Bitewing Games and designed by Reiner Knizia , it pits the gods of Olympus against legendary monsters in a challenge without dice or luck.
Each player moves their tokens in a straight line, leaving a trail of tokens behind them. The goal? Place all of your tokens on the board while blocking your opponent's progress.
Each character has a unique ability that can be used only once: and this is where all the strategic finesse comes into play.
