A forest at war
In Root , players vie for control of a vast forest, choosing a faction with unique abilities and victory conditions. Each game becomes an asymmetric conflict where opposing strategies intertwine in an ever-unstable balance.
Factions fighting for dominance
The Marquise de Gatos exploits resources to construct buildings and consolidate her kingdom, while the Woodland Alliance plots a rebellion in the shadows. The Wanderers roam freely along hidden paths, aiding or sabotaging those who find it convenient, and the noble eagles of the Eyrie seek to regain power with their increasingly binding decrees.
Multipurpose cards and total asymmetry
The heart of the game is a versatile deck of cards that fuels different strategies depending on the chosen faction. Each faction not only plays differently, but also wins differently, creating ever-changing games with high replayability.
