🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Lead a galactic faction in decline… or on the rise
In Arcs , each player controls a faction in a fallen empire. Your goal is to regain power, influence, and technology... or simply survive the escalating cosmic chaos.
2. Core mechanics: strategic trick-taking
Turns are based on a brilliant trick-taking mechanic: whoever leads the round plays a card and dictates the action. The others must follow, but choose to adapt or resist. A true tactical dance of space.
3. Expand, fight, explore (but be careful with your actions)
You can conquer star systems, activate fleets, conduct research, and manage resources… but every choice has a cost and crucial timing. Poorly planning a trick could cost you the entire galaxy.
4. Scenario campaign (or epic single game)
The game shines in its legacy-light campaign mode: each game generates events, crises, and changes that influence subsequent ones. Factions evolve, technologies are discovered, alliances and betrayals are formed.
5. He who knows how to adapt to the chaos of the universe wins.
At the end of the game or campaign, the one who has accumulated the most glory by adapting to galactic events, completing secret objectives, and… avoiding being obliterated by a rebel empire wins.
