WHAT IT IS ABOUT
The battlefield for the two-player duel
This is the official Playmat dedicated to Regicide: Crown Duels, produced by Badgers from Mars and funded on Kickstarter in 2026 along with the other two Regicide novelties. It's not the game — it's the accessory that transforms it into a TCG tabletop experience. Neoprene mat with Sketchgoblin artwork and four printed play zones.
The zones exactly follow the structure of Crown Duels: attack, defense, magic, and corruption. No more forgetting where a card goes, no more wondering "was this the magic zone or spell zone?". Each position has its dedicated space — bluffing and secret planning become the only things to worry about.
It comes in a sturdy cardboard tube to protect it during transport. Designed for those who regularly play Crown Duels and want a table with the same visual care as the deck. Requires a copy of Regicide: Crown Duels to be used.
Crown Duels is played with hidden cards. When the zones have a shape, bluffing becomes clearer — and therefore more cruel.
Why you need a mat
Neoprene absorbs the impact when you place a card. This is also part of the duel.

Attack
Where clubs and hearts sum up strength. The zone from which all damage is dealt to opposing royals — Jack, Queen, King.
Defense
Spades and hearts build the wall. The more blocks you can play, the more hits you absorb before the King falls.
Magic
Variable effects based on the suit played. This is where games are decided — and where the opponent never knows what to expect.
Corruption
The only zone that isn't revealed. Cards placed here remain face down, ready for a powerful turn later. Pure planning.
