Choose your world: abyss or desert

No mess: two separate blocks , each with its own expansions. Same flip-and-write strategy board game DNA, but with two changing atmospheres completely the feeling at the table.

Flip Voyage: commands, course and depth (the “Nautilus” flip-and-write)

Publisher: Write Stuff Games • Designer: Steven Aramini • Art: Naomi Ferrall

Flip Voyage is that solitaire board game (and also great as a 2-player board game ) that puts you at the helm: the turn begins, the cards give you possibilities… and you must transform them into a sensible course. Here you win when your head stays cool: priority, timing, control .

“The map is big. Time is not. And every choice is a command.”

How to play (clear and straight):

  1. Manage the dashboard: route, progress, upgrades .
  2. You assign three cards to destination / order / execution .
  3. Explore areas with risks and rewards .
  4. Build a more efficient (and “meaner”) engine.
  5. You win when the course is yours — not when you “have scored a lot.”

Flip Voyage Abyss Mini-Expansion Open / Close

Here, expansion doesn't "stretch": it gives you direction . It puts you in "discovery" mode: chase evidence, close the goal, play more precisely.

Flip Voyage - Fantastic Discoveries
Flip Voyage – Fantastic Discoveries (mini)

What really changes: it's not enough to travel well: you have to find evidence and close the discovery. More hunger, more tension, more “perfect route”.

Open Fantastic Discoveries
“If you go off course, you don’t lose a turn: you lose a legend.”

Fliptown: Wild West combos, an open-world map, and poker that really counts

Publisher: Write Stuff Games • Designer: Steven Aramini • Art: Naomi Ferrall

Fliptown is the classic “easy entry, stay bad”: every turn seems to give you a thousand paths… and then it makes you understand that the real skill is to cut , choose, optimize. It's a fast-paced but impressive strategic board game : when you find the right combo, you can really feel it.

“In the West, the winner is not the one who runs; the winner is the one who decides where to put the sign.”

How to play (smoke-free):

  1. You turn over three cards and assign them to different roles.
  2. A card decides which region to activate.
  3. A card decides where to mark on the map.
  4. A card lands in your poker hand (end of round).
  5. Optimize objectives and resources: excellent as a solo board game and super satisfying even with 2.

Fliptown Desert Expansions Open / Close

Here you choose “what kind of Fliptown” you want: bigger, more pressure, more variability or a real campaign. They are not decorations: they are strategic levers .

Fliptown - New Frontier
Fliptown – New Frontier (full-box)

More regions, more puzzles, more space for long shots: the “large version” that remains fluid.

Open New Frontier
“More frontiers = more choices that tempt you. And put you to the test.”
Fliptown - The Specialists
Fliptown – The Specialists (mini)

A powerful boost… with increasing cost. First it excites you, then it forces you to be clear-headed.

Open The Specialists
“The more he helps you, the more expensive he becomes. And you have to decide when to give up.”
Fliptown - The Outskirts
Fliptown – The Outskirts (mini)

New "border" maps: more variability and new priorities. Just when you think you know the map... there's the outskirts.

Open The Outskirts
“It shifts your priorities. And the game immediately changes.”
Fliptown - The Lone Gun
Fliptown – The Lone Gun (campaign only)

Chapter-based campaign with progression: if you want a “path-based” solitaire board game , this is the place to go.

Open The Lone Gun
“It's not a game. It's a career in the West.”

Last thing: here you're not choosing "a game." You're choosing the kind of evening you want.

Flip Voyage is route and depth. Fliptown is combo and priority in the West. Two different ways to experience a strategic board game that starts quickly and stays in your head.

PS: There's no "right choice" here. There's only: abyss or desert . 🐸
