Dawn of the Zeds - Designer Edition

Dawn of the Zeds: Designer Edition release delayed to summer 2026. Blue Panther LLC abandons Print-on-Demand for traditional printing with pre-built maps and multilingual localizations.

Steve Jones of Blue Panther LLC has announced a major update regarding the release of the highly anticipated Designer Edition of *Dawn of the Zeds*. Originally scheduled for February 2026 as a Print-on-Demand (PoD) title, the game has been delayed and the new release window is now set for Summer 2026 .

The decision to postpone the release is linked to the desire to transition to a traditional printing style. Jones explained that the enormous interest shown by fans in this series would have risked completely saturating the company's internal production capacity. Maintaining production in PoD would have compromised Blue Panther's ability to quickly serve its publishing partners, among whom Hollandspiele, White Dog, Historic Wings, and Catastrophe Games are explicitly mentioned.

This shift brings significant quality gains. The Designer Edition will include components aligned with modern gamer standards, including mounted maps , which would not have been possible with the previous production model. Blue Panther is currently finalizing production schedules with a reputable printer.

Another great piece of news from this change is localization: the game will be available in multiple languages (not just English) right from launch, thanks to several international partners already confirmed. Furthermore, "friendly" shipping (with no additional customs duties on delivery) is guaranteed for the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union .

Pre-orders will open 6-8 weeks before the actual release . Those who pre-order will receive a discount and likely an exclusive premium item. A specific date will be announced as soon as the production schedule is finalized.
