Allplay launches Mountain Goats Legacy and Enchanted Ivy on Kickstarter

Allplay is launching its Kickstarter campaign today for Mountain Goats: Legacy, an evolution of the classic dice game, and the solitaire game Enchanted Ivy.

Today, January 13, 2026, Allplay returns to Kickstarter with a double offering that promises to excite fans of quick filler games and solo challenges alike. The campaign sees the official launch of Mountain Goats: Legacy and the solo title Enchanted Ivy .

The Evolution of a Classic: Mountain Goats: Legacy

The original Mountain Goats game earned a solid reputation as an accessible yet tense dice game based on the "King of the Hill" mechanic. With this new Legacy incarnation, Allplay takes the experience to the next level. Players won't just climb to the top in a single game, but will embark on a campaign where decisions will impact subsequent sessions.

While specific details on permanent changes are still being explored, the campaign is expected to introduce new evolving rules and components that unlock as the goats continue their ascent. The goal remains to maximize scores by managing dice rolls, but with the addition of an emerging narrative and gameplay changes that make each copy of the game unique at the end of the campaign.

Gaming Only: Enchanted Ivy

Accompanying the main release is Enchanted Ivy , a title specifically designed for solo play. Allplay has recently expanded its catalog with compact, beautifully designed games, and this new title seems to fit perfectly into that editorial line, offering a tactical puzzler for a single player.

The Kickstarter campaign is live today and allows backers to purchase the titles separately or as a bundle. As is traditional for the publisher, high-quality components are expected, with particular attention to wooden materials and a clean, modern graphic design.
