What happens at the table
Not the rules. The evening.
Your child chooses their hero
They pick up the standee, study it, and place it on the board with a solemnity that makes you smile. Now that's their character — and they'll proudly defend it throughout the campaign.
The first zombie appears in the classroom
The die rolls red. An undead appears in the red classroom. The children look at each other: "Who goes there?" They discuss, decide together, and move the piece. It's the first time they truly cooperate — and it works.

The first envelope is opened

How to play
Each child's turn
Four simple actions learned in the first round. From the second, children explain them to their parents.
The color rolled indicates which classroom a new zombie appears in. If there are no more to place, the school is overrun — everyone loses together.
Walk from one classroom to another or stay put. You cannot enter classrooms with three zombies — they are impassable. Strategy is born here.
From the classroom you are in, you can remove up to two zombies and return them to the supply. Clear the way for your friends.
If you are at a gate with another hero, high five — really — and close that door forever. Close four and you win.

What happens when we finish the campaign?
Unlike many legacy games, Zombie Kidz Evolution remains fully playable even after opening all the envelopes. The new powers unlocked remain available, the evolved rules too — and games continue to work. So nothing is "burned": you keep a complete game in the box, ready to be brought out again.
From what age does it really work well?
The publisher indicates seven years, and our experience confirms it. A bright six-year-old can do it with an adult nearby. From seven years old, they play independently. The great thing is that the game grows with them — at ten years old, they will approach the same envelopes in a much more strategic way. We recommend it for ages 7 to 10 as the ideal range.
How many players does it work best with?
With 3 or 4 players, you get the most complete experience: the board is more lively, group decisions are richer.
