HOW TO PLAY WINGSPAN: AMERICAS EXPANSION

Note: This is an expansion and requires the Wingspan base game to play. The basic rules remain unchanged, with the addition of the new bird cards to the common deck.

QUICK SETUP
Shuffle the new bird cards (identifiable by the expansion icon or theme) into the main bird deck. Make sure all food tokens and eggs are within reach.

SHIFT OVERVIEW
On your turn, perform one of **4 main actions** by placing an action cube on your player board:

1. PLAY A BIRD
Pay the food and egg costs (if applicable) to place a bird from your hand in one of the three available habitats (Forest, Grassland, Wetland). Immediately activate any "when played" powers.

2. EARN FOOD
Activate the **Forest** habitat. Take dice from the feeder based on the leftmost free slot. Then, activate the brown powers of the birds in this row, from right to left.

3. LAY EGGS
Activate the **Meadow** habitat. Take eggs from the leftmost free slot and place them on the birds that have space in their nests. Then, activate the brown powers of the birds in this row, from right to left.

4. DRAW BIRD CARDS
Activate the **Wetland** habitat. Draw cards (face-up or from the deck) based on the leftmost empty slot. Then, activate the brown powers of the birds in this row, from right to left.

END OF THE ROUND
Once all players have used up their action cubes, the round ends. Remove the cubes from the board, evaluate the end-of-round objectives, discard, and replenish cards and food if necessary. The first player passes the token clockwise.

FINAL SCORE
The game ends after 4 rounds. Add up the points for:
- Point value of the birds played
- Bonus cards completed
- End of round objectives
- Eggs, stored food and tucked papers

The player with the highest score wins the game!
