🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. A castaway to be transformed into a survivor.
In Friday , you play as Friday, the islander who must help Robinson Crusoe survive the island's perils and prepare for the final battle against the pirates. It's just you, your wits, and a clumsy castaway you'll have to transform into a capable fighter.
2. A solo deck-building.
The heart of the game is building and optimizing your deck of combat cards. Robinson starts out weak and his cards are ineffective, but as you face the island's dangers, you can improve him by adding stronger cards and removing useless ones.
3. Face challenges, win, or learn.
Each turn, you draw combat cards to overcome a danger card. If you win, the danger card becomes a new combat card to add to your deck. If you lose, you lose life points... but you can also remove weak cards from your deck, improving your future effectiveness.
4. A crescendo of tension.
As your deck grows and the dangers become more challenging, each choice becomes more weighty. You must balance the risk of losing life with the opportunity to strengthen your deck, always with the goal of best preparing yourself for the decisive battle.
5. The final challenge against the pirates.
Once you've overcome all the island's threats, you'll find yourself facing the two pirate ships. Only a well-constructed deck and a little luck will guarantee victory. If you manage to defeat them, Robinson will be able to leave the island... and you can finally return to your peace.
